Throughout my pregnancy I remained stick  to everything non-toxic and organic. Plenty of fruits, nuts, green leafy vegetables and milk topped the chart of my daily diet as they are rich in minerals, vitamins, anti-oxidants and everything good for the skin and the baby in the belly.

I am very proud to say that I that I was able to keep up my workouts mostly walk and pregnancy yoga and cardio through the whole 40 weeks. Even the night I had my labor pain that day I had a 10 Km walk with my husband. It gave me happier skin, kept me motivated and gave me strength to carry the baby. (Please consult your doctor before starting with any workout)

Drink plenty of water :

Your body and your vital organs must have water to function properly. You need water to keep your body hydrated. Drinking enough water prevents dehydration. Dehydration during pregnancy can lead to many complications. This is especially important in the third trimester when dehydration can actually cause contractions that can trigger preterm labor.

Moisturise :

Hydrate hydrate hydrate your skin. As I stayed  out of touch of toxins throughout the pregnancy I kept my skin chemicals and cosmetics free. Coconut oil was my big time saviour. I liked it’s fragrance as well soothing effect it gave me. It’s super effective in increasing hydration and reducing water loss in seriously dry skin.

A healthy skin is a happy skin. Wish you all a very happy and healthy pregnancy.
